- Implementation and delivery of a complete and automatically daily updated BI project from Data sourcing, processing, and archiving in the DataWarehouse, to sales activities analytics on multiple QlikView Dashboards and reports.

Details
- Launching and managing the BI project from scratch to the delivery of the Datawarehouse and QlikView platform, helping the client (a retail chain of 80 supermarkets, 4 brands, 1 hypermarket) to analyze in detail all its sales activities.
- Continuous collaboration with the client’s management team and IT managers during the entire project.
- Collaboration with the management team to collect, consolidate and formulate all the sales analytics requirements’ metrics and KPIs.
- Redaction of the sales analytics requirements documentation and its validation with the management team.
- Collaboration with IT managers to identify data sources, and prepare the needed sales data to be processed and archived in the DataWarehouse.
- Conception and implementation of the DataWarehouse on SQL Server Database.
- Development and implementation of the ETL project and data Pipelines on SQL Server Integration Services SSIS (data consolidation, data transformation, data Processing, Etc.) to load data on the DataWarehouse.
- Archiving sales data of multiple years, high volume sales data, multiple millions of sales data raws/year, etc.
- Implementation of multiple automated maintenance plans (monthly, weekly, etc) to optimize the Datawarehouse performance (Rebuilding indexes, Compress data, Update index statistics, etc).
- Design and development of QlikView app that load data from DW, process and compute all the needed sales metrics, and display all the needed sales KPIs and detailed sales information (permanent/promotional sales by time(year, quarter, month, day, hour, etc.)/geography/Brand/Store/Product hierarchy/ etc.) throws several dashboards and reports.
- Agile Project Management:
- Continuous workshops with IT managers during the implementation of the DW, and with sales manager during the development of QlikView Dashboards.
- Incremental implementation of the DW, and validation of data qualities with IT managers and sales manager, until the complete delivery and validation of the DW.
- Incremental development and deliveries of QlikView dashboards and their validation with the Sales manager, until their complete validation. Etc.
- Data security implementation on the QlikView app to filter Data and attribute the right data to the right user.
- QlikView Server installation and configuration.
- Deployment of the QlikView app on the internal web portal (QlikView ‘Access point’ web portal) and configuring dashboards users’ access.
- Full automation of the project from daily data processing and archiving on the DW to the daily update of all Qlikview dashboards.
