Goal

After I recently delivered to the client a complete Microsoft BI solution (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) that transformed the ERP Microsoft Navision‘s Transactional Data into several daily updated Dashboards and Reports to help business teams analyze sales activities, the executive team needed additional dynamic and Self BI analytical solution with Tableau Software app to analyze daily updated Sales KPIs on interactive and responsive mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones.

Result

Delivery of a complete and fully automated Tableau platform with several daily updated Tableau Dashboards and Reports deployed on Tableau Server and accessed through the client’s internal web portal.
The executive team analyzes continuously updated sales activities KPIs on mobile devices (iPads, Smartphones, Tablets, etc.).

Loading Data from the multidimensional sales cube.
Development of several Sales Dashboards on Tableau Desktop to calculate and analyze the sales KPIs and metrics.
Agile Project Management: Incremental development and deliveries of Tableau dashboards and their validation with the Executive team, until their complete validation.
Installation and configuration of Tableau software Server.
Deployment of Tableau dashboards on Tableau Server and configuration of their automatic daily update.
Configuration of Dashboards’ users’ access from Mobiles devices (Ipads, Smartphones, Tablets, etc.).
Complete Testing of the entire Tableau platform and its final validation with Executive and Business teams.
